29 March 2022 | 30 March 2022

Organised in collaboration with Roncucci&Partners, the two events arise from the experience gained during the pandemic period, which saw a strong collaboration between private sector and public institutions, united to face Covid-19.

The focus of the first event “Supporting the private sector’s response to Covid-19 in Italy: Outcomes and lessons learned from the USAID INVEST program” revolves around the results obtained with USAID INVEST – the project funded by the US Government to support Italy, the first European country affected by the pandemic. Thanks to USAID INVEST, it was possible to support 25 Italian companies in the fight against the pandemic by producing anti-Covid items. The event therefore aims to illustrate the approach and results of the project, including the Humanitarian Catalogue, a tool able to connect the supply and demand of health products in third countries.

The second event, entitled “AIDITALY SANITARY PLATFORM: From a humanitarian catalogue to a humanitarian platform through the setting up of a new sanitary supply chain” will explore the ways in which companies and institutions can jointly design intervention solutions for the sanitary supply chain. It will be an opportunity to discuss the idea of a virtual international health platform, where companies, institutions and NGOs can work together to provide solutions on a global level. Dubai is an international hub, a bridge between East and West, which can play a crucial role.
